We create with purpose, serve with integrity, and design spaces that bring life.
We believe meaningful design begins by removing what is unnecessary and making room for what truly matters. We create with purpose, serve with integrity, and design spaces that bring clarity, connection, and life.
Design That Begins with Understanding
At Atelier Mo Design, we believe great design begins with listening.
Every client, business, and space has its own story, challenges, and ambitions. Our role is to understand them deeply and transform them into thoughtful, functional, and meaningful environments. Rather than applying a predetermined style, we develop tailored design solutions that reflect each client’s identity, practical needs, budget, and long-term goals.
Established in Malaysia in 2017, Atelier Mo Design is a multidisciplinary design studio specializing in interior design, architecture, branding, furniture design, and spatial strategy. From residential and commercial interiors to small- and medium-scale architecture, we provide an integrated design approach that brings clarity and consistency throughout the entire project.
Our founder, Sangkyu Mo, was born in Seoul and educated in Korea. He began his career at the architectural firm Yezu and later expanded his expertise in deconstructivist architecture and advanced parametric design at Freeform. With more than a decade of professional experience across Korea, Singapore, China, and Malaysia, he brings a broad international perspective together with a practical understanding of how design must respond to people, place, culture, and construction.
For us, design is not simply about creating beautiful spaces. It is about solving real problems, improving how people live and work, and creating environments that remain valuable over time. We work closely with our clients throughout the process, offering professional guidance, proactive solutions, and responsible decision-making from concept to completion.
Whether the project is large or small, our commitment remains the same: to listen carefully, think strategically, and create with sincerity.
“Empty Is Plenty.”
We believe that meaningful design often begins by removing what is unnecessary.
Through simplicity, clarity, and thoughtful restraint, we create spaces that feel balanced, purposeful, and alive. Our goal is not only to deliver material beauty, but also to create a positive atmosphere, emotional connection, and lasting creative energy.
Atelier Mo Design creates experimental yet practical designs—spaces that express identity, support everyday life, and bring meaningful experiences to life.
